Packing Up for a Picnic- Word Game

You Will Need:

Imagination

Directions:

Start the activity with your child by saying, “I’m going on a picnic and I’m bringing _________.”  Start with a word beginning with “A.” Then, have your child say the same thing, but choose something that starts with “B,” and so on through the alphabet.

Tip:

This is a great activity to do while driving in the car. Younger children may need help – if so, they can tell you what letter comes next and you can supply the item.
