Our center is conveniently located at the Reston Plaza America, just off the Dulles Toll road on Sunset Hills Road. Traveling west on VA-267 (Dulles Toll Road) toward the Dulles Airport, you would take exit 12 (VA-602/Reston Parkway). Once through the toll, you would make a right onto Reston Parkway and bear right. Sunset Hills will be your very next signal at which you will turn right. After turning right you will proceed through one signal light. At the second signal light you will make a right turn into Plaza America. Once inside the Plaza you will want to continue to bear right as you drive around the corridor. We are located on the ground floor, near the fire hydrant of the second tower marked 11710!!

Viewing 1/1 Children use droppers to move water colors in water. They developed their fine motor skills by squeezing the droppers and releasing them at the right time. The children also were able to observe how water moves and behaves.

Viewing 2/1 Here is another water dropper activity that also focused on mixing colors. Children were able to observe how different colors mixed together to form new colors.

Viewing 3/1 Here children use droppers to paint snow and observe the way water mixes with snow. They learned about the different physical properties of water as well as how colors mix, all while honing their fine motor skills.

Viewing 4/1 Children are also given opportunities to play with water beads in our sensory table. Here is a child scooping and dumping water beads. Water beads are a new way for children to experiment with volume.

At our center children get to experience all sorts of different kinds of sensory exploration from playing with sand to mixing water colors. These sensory activities encourage children to explore and use the scientific method to learn about the world around them.

Two of our teachers received prestigious Awards of Excellence at our annual Professional Development Day. This year it was held in Jersey City, NJ on November 10 with centers from NY, NJ, VA, DC, DE and PA.
