Welcome to Bright Horizons Houston

A unique and fun hideaway in the middle of downtown

Welcome to Bright Horizons Houston! Welcome to our back-up center. We opened our doors to provide back-up care to children and families in January 2001. Serving children ages 6 weeks through 12 years, our highly skilled teachers and caregivers provide a special kind of care for children, designed to help them feel safe and secure in a new and unfamiliar environment. Our mission is to engage every child in developmentally appropriate opportunities for play and discovery and to help parents feel at ease when there are breakdowns in their regular care situations. Bright Horizons Foundation for ChildrenThe Bright Horizons Foundation for Children honors its 15th anniversary with Voices of Gratitude, a digital magazine celebrating the difference our programs make in people's lives. To date, thousands of partners, volunteers, and donors have shared their time, resources, and knowledge across hundreds of communities and now serve more than 100,000 children a year through Bright Spaces, volunteering, and grants.

Meals

Our center provides a nutritious morning and afternoon snack. Lunch is not provided by the center. Please bring a ready-to-eat lunch for your child or you may opt to take your child out for lunch. Lunches brought into the center may not be warmed in a microwave. In addition, our center is nut safe. Most families are probably familiar with what it means to be a nut safe environment but for those who are not, please be advised that this means that families, teachers and staff must refrain from bringing any products that contain nuts into the center. We ask that families and staff check to screen-out products that contain nuts or are prepared in a factory where nuts are present.
