*Bright Horizons Plaza of the Americas is located in the Arts District of downtown Dallas. We are in the same building as the Marriott City Center. Bright Horizons Plaza of the Americas is on the Lower Level of the North Tower of the Plaza Americas building. The DART Pearl St. Station is at the corner of our building and we are 2 blocks from the Cathedral de Guadalupe. Parking is available at the Plaza of the Americas parking garage located on San Jacinto St. *Enter 'Plaza of the Americas' into your GPS instead of center address - it's easier to locate the building and then locate the center within the building.

Our Toddler Program

A place for growing curious, happy and confident toddlers

Our space is built for active and inquisitive toddlers with environments made up of well-planned learning centers that allow for physical activity, child choice and self-directed play, small groups, and supportive teaching. There are reading nooks, sensory tables, great books, pretend play areas, baskets filled with dress-up and exploratory materials, musical instruments, and places to explore.

Learning experiences are planned to promote each toddler’s growing independence, to enhance social skills, and to build the confidence needed to reach their individual potential.

Learning at Home

Homemade Beach Bubbles

You Will Need:

1 quart water, 8 tablespoons liquid detergent, 4 tablespoons glycerin, 2 teaspoons sugar, coat hanger

Directions:

Make a homemade batch of bubbles by mixing the ingredients. Make a wand by bending a coat hanger into a circle. Dip the wand into the bubble mixture. Voila: giant beach bubbles!

Tip:

This activity works best when bubble mixture is made a day in advance.
