Letters and Notes

You Will Need:

Paper and pens or a computer and printer, a clipboard or lap desk for writing in the car, envelopes, stamps

Directions:

Work with your child to send letters and notes to friends and relatives. If your child is using a paper and pen or pencil, you can write the words that he dictates or write his descriptions of the pictures he draws. He also might be able to copy or write the words himself.  If you have a computer, sit with him and take turns typing.

Tip:

Have older children address and stamp their own envelopes. Writing to a special person is a delightful ritual.
