What Parents are Saying

Our greatest advocates are also our closest friends.

"Thank you so much for all that you do for the children, families and staff. Bright Horizons has been a second home for our three daughters, and our family, for nearly 10 years now! The teachers have contributed tremendously to our daughters' growth and development, and the feeling of leaving your children with people they adore is incredibly comforting."

World at their Fingertips

The story behind Bright Horizons emergent curriculum

What happens when a toddler tells his teacher he loves cheetahs? Or a pre-kindergarten student asks what dinosaurs eat? At Bright Horizons®, those questions spark learning opportunities and lessons in math, reading, science, art…and more. Watch the video to see teachers and parents talk about this very unique approach toward curriculum, and how a child's very own interests become the launch pad for curiosity... and a lifetime love of learning.

Baby on the Bus

You Will Need:

Soft blanket or towel on a soft surface

Directions:

Lay your baby on a blanket, on his back. Make eye contact and sing the following song to the tune of "Wheels on the Bus," moving the assigned body part on your baby as you sing. Bicycle your baby's legs as you sing the first four lines. The wheels on the bus go round and round, round and round, round and round, the wheels on the bus go round and round, all through the town. Lift your baby's arms up and down as you sing the next four lines. The people on the bus go up and down, up and down, up and down, the people on the bus go up and down, all through the town. Roll your baby from side to side as you sing the next four lines. The wipers on the bus go back and forth, back and forth, back and forth, the wipers on the bus go back and forth, all through the town. Touch your baby's nose as you sing the next four lines. The horn on the bus goes beep, beep, beep, beep, beep, beep, beep, beep, beep, the horn on the bus goes beep, beep, beep, all through the town.

Tip:

Word of caution: be gentle with your baby’s movements.
