Located on the northeast corner of Clinton St (540 W) and Monroe St. (100 S) in Downtown Chicago, aka, The Loop. Our entrance (store front entrance on ground level) faces Clinton St, near the intersecting streets. Look for the frosted glass door with the buzzer. Note: There are no signs to indicate the center's entrance. There is a parking structure in the 500 W. Monroe building. Parents/guardians are provided in & out vouchers; if their stay in the garage is less than thirty minutes parking is free.

Our Preschool Program

Engaging children intellectually, physically, emotionally and socially

Our preschool classrooms focus on children’s newly emerging skills and advanced use of language, math, and scientific thought. Multi-disciplinary learning centers encourage individual skills and emerging interests in academics and creative expression.

Our curriculum stimulates each child’s innate curiosity and exploratory nature to prepare children for lifelong learning.

In the preschool classroom, we cannot have any outside food brought into the center.  Morning and afternoon snacks are available as part of the program.  For lunch, parents can either take the children out to lunch or purchase the catered lunch for $5. Please click Menu

Man in the Moon

You Will Need:

Black construction paper, white chalk

Directions:

Go outside each night for a month. Have your child draw a picture of the moon. Try to let him be the first to notice the different shape each night. When he notices it, ask questions about the changes. Say things like, “What is changing about the moon?”; “Can you find it every night?”; “Is it in the same place every night?”; “Does it look the same at different times of the same night?” Younger children will not be able to understand the concepts involved with reflected light, orbit of the moon and earth, etc. They only need to understand that the moon changes each night because it moves.

Tip:

Share the peacefulness of night. Talk about your day and ask about your child’s day while you are outside. Help your child notice the sounds and smells of the evening. Go for a walk or put a quilt on the grass to lay on while you search the sky.
