Central Loop is located on the corner of Washington and LaSalle directly across the street from City Hall. We are located on the first floor. When you enter the building walk past security and the elevators. We are the first door on your right hand side. Please press the buzzer to be allowed in. There is limited pay-to-park in front of the building between 9am and 4pm; however, we do validate for 30 minutes of parking at the Self Park Garage (blue sign) which has an entrance on both Washington and Madison. This garage is closest to LaSalle Street, between LaSalle and Wells Street.

While many time experiments are completed by following provided directions, allowing children time to explore and investigate on their own is critical to their development as well.

Viewing 3/1 Did you know that water play is a great science lesson? These activities give young and old children alike opportunities to use tools purposefully. Adding a water wheel gives another dimension of learner by cause and effect.

Viewing 4/1 Here our Early Learners have created a water purification tool. These experiments that relate to real life experiences are important in understanding the how and why of the things around us.
