If you are traveling by Metro, the closest stop is Metro Center Station. From there, take the 13th Street exit. There will be a Bank of America to your right, continue on the left, walking straight down G street. You will pass a Wachovia bank. You will see a Starbucks coffee shop on your right on the corner of 14th & G. The entrance to the building will be on your left, next to Citibank. The center is located between 14th and 15th street, in the same building as the Old Ebbitt Grill.

Our early childhood education professionals provide a special kind of care for children, designed to help them feel safe and secure in a new and unfamiliar environment. Our mission is to engage children in developmentally appropriate opportunities for play and discovery and to help parents feel at ease when there are breakdowns in their regular care arrangements. Bright Horizons Foundation for ChildrenThe Bright Horizons Foundation for Children honors its 15th anniversary with Voices of Gratitude, a digital magazine celebrating the difference our programs make in people's lives. To date, thousands of partners, volunteers, and donors have shared their time, resources, and knowledge across hundreds of communities and now serve more than 100,000 children a year through Bright Spaces, volunteering, and grants.

Get involved in our Highlighted Activities

Because knowledge is more than just the ABC's.

The center has been custom-designed to fully meet the child care and educational needs of young children and to maximize learning, ensure safety, and support teacher supervision. The Infant Room is specially designed for very young children to explore their world in stimulating, healthy and safe way with quiet spaces for nurturing. Teachers in the Infant and Toddler Program provide a caring and supportive environment that gently encourages increasing mobility and exploration. The Preschool and SA Program provides the same nurturing and support, as well as an exciting environment where children can begin to discover the world around them through language, math, science, art, technology, movement and music.
