Heading East on the 134 fwy, exit Pass Ave and make a right. At the second stop light, Riverside Dr, make a left. On your right hand side, you'll see a big car wash on the corner. Make a right onto Hollywood Way. We share the drive way with the car wash, so enter the second driveway. Parking is in the back as well as the entrance. From 134 West, exit Hollywood Way. Fwy exit is on Alameda, make a left. At first stoplight (Hollywood Way) make a left. At the next stoplight, there is a big car wash on right hand side. We share the driveway, so enter the second driveway. Parking and entrance in the rear of building.

You Will Need:

Empty oatmeal boxes or cans of different sizes

Directions:

Tap a rhythm on a box with your hands. Give another box to your child and see if he will copy you. Then, see if he can repeat a simple beat.

Tip:

Notice and comment on the difference in sound between sizes of boxes and/or cans. Make loud and soft sounds. Say things like, “How did you make that so loud? Did you hit it hard or soft?”
