Welcome to Bright Horizons Chicago West Loop!

Welcome to our back-up center, Bright Horizons Chicago West Loop. Our highly skilled teachers and caregivers provide a special kind of care for children, designed to help them feel safe and secure in a new and unfamiliar environment. Our mission is to engage every child in developmentally appropriate opportunities for play and discovery and to help parents feel at ease when there are breakdowns in their regular care situations. Our center is open Monday through Friday for back-up child care and early education. Click here to view a photo tour of our center.

Convienent Location
West Loop is located 1 block south of Ogilvie Station and 2 blocks north of Union Station.

Parking Availability
Parents may use the parking structure in the 500 W. Monroe building. Obtain a  vouchure for free parking if your stay is less than 30 minutes.

What to Bring
  • Extra clothes – one or two complete sets (appropriate for weather conditions)
  • Unopened formula and/or baby food
  • Recommended: one bottle with cover for each feeding plus one extra, labeled with your child’s first and last name and date 
  • All breast milk needs to be prepared in the bottles and numbered
  • All food must be factory sealed and labeled with child’s first and last name and date. Our center is a peanut-safe zone and we ask that you please refrain from bringing any snack item that contains peanut butter or peanut products.
  • Diapers (at least 5), wipes (plenty), and ointment if needed.
  • Any comfort items (blanket, pacifier, etc.)

**Children ages 2 years or older should not bring in any outside food. An optional lunch will be served for $5 additional or parents can take children out for lunch.

Special Events
Story Time

Every third Tuesday have your preschooler  (2-5 yrs. old) come and join in on the fun during a visit from our public librarian. Ms. Maria implements fun activities during her Story Time that include interactive finger play, songs, and movement activities that surround the theme of the stories that she reads to our children.
