Welcome to our back-up center! We opened our doors to children and families in 2006. Our highly skilled teachers provide a special kind of care for children that helps them feel safe and secure in a new and unfamiliar environment. Our mission is to engage every child in developmentally appropriate opportunities for play and discovery and to help parents feel at ease when there is a breakdown in their regular care or school situation. Our center is open Monday through Friday for back-up child care. The center is conveniently located in the Commerica Building on the first floor (please note that we are not located in the UTC mall). 20 minute free parking is available for drop-off and pick-up. We will be closed on the following days in observance of holidays:
* Monday, 05/28/2012- Memorial Day

* Tuesday, 12/25/2012- Christmas Day
Advance reservations are recommended for high demand days. You may make requests 30 days prior to the day care is needed.

Nutritious snacks provided daily
To ensure that your child's day goes as smoothly as possible, please remember to pack:
- Infants: Please bring an appropriate amount of food, bottles, etc. for the day (formula must be pre-mixed)
- Diapers & Wipes: Please bring enough disposable diapers for the day.
- Food: Please pack a lunch or you may pick up your child. We will provide a morning and afternoon snack.
- Clothing: Children should wear play clothes as they are involved in projects that use paint, water and other materials. We ask that a change of clothing be provided for children under 6 years of age, including a change of underwear.
- Comfort Items: If your child has a special blanket, stuffed animal or other comfort item from home, please feel free to bring it for the day.
- Identification: Please label all clothing and other belongings with your child’s full name.
