Welcome to our back-up center, Bright Horizons Palo Alto. We opened our doors to provide back-up care to children and families in January 2001. Serving children ages 3 months to 12 years, our highly skilled teachers and caregivers provide a special kind of care for children, designed to help them feel safe and secure in a new and unfamiliar environment. Our mission is to engage every child in developmentally appropriate opportunities for play and discovery and to help parents feel at ease when there are breakdowns in their regular care situations. Our center is open Monday through Friday for back-up child care and early education. The center is conveniently located in the corner building of El Camino Real and Pagemill Road inside the Palo Alto Square.

Advance reservations are recommended for high demand days. You may make requests 30 days prior to the day care is needed.

* We are a NUT AWARE ENVIRONMENT – We ask parents not to bring any nut products or products that may contain nuts into the center.
• Drinks: Water and juice is provided
  
* Infants/Toddlers – All food including snacks, juice and milk in labeled bottles and sippy cups. This includes premixed bottles of formula/ breast milk/regular milk for the day (plus one extra for emergency).
• Diapers & Wipes: Please bring enough disposable diapers for the day.
• Clothing: Children should wear play clothes as they are involved in projects that use paint, water and other materials. We ask that a change of clothing be provided for children under 6 years of age.
• Medication: Please contact center for more details.
• Identification: Please label all clothing and other belongings with your child’s full name.
