  • About the Curriculum

    Our unique approach to education

Bright Horizons’ The World at Their Fingertips®

We believe that children experience learning through play. Based on this belief, we provide a wide variety of activities in all the curriculum areas - math, science, language, culture, environment, art, and health - where children can experience “hands on” learning. Our goal is to ensure that your child’s day in back-up care is a rich and meaningful experience.

  • Our Professional Staff

    Dedicated back-up staff and teachers

    Our Staff

Bright Horizons staff members are trained professionals who have expertise in educating and caring for young children and supporting working parents. Center directors hold a minimum of a bachelor’s degree in education, and teachers have associate’s or bachelor’s degrees (or equivalent experience) in early childhood education. All staff members complete an extensive interview process, including background and reference checks, and are trained in the unique characteristics of back-up child care. Special emphasis is placed on safety and security, hygiene, health and sanitation, first aid, CPR, and life-saving procedures.

    Well Aware and Staying Healthy

Our center environment offers children a healthy and safe place to spend a day in back-up care. Through our Well Aware program and our Staying Healthy procedures, we set high expectations for creating healthy environments, and also foster positive attitudes within children towards healthy living, physical activity, and nutrition. Our centers strive towards the highest standards as measured through national accreditation and state quality rating systems, allowing you to leave your children in our care with complete confidence.
