Welcome to our back-up center, Chicago East Loop. We opened our doors to provide back-up care to children and families in April 1998. Serving children ages 6 weeks to 12 years, our highly skilled teachers and caregivers provide a special kind of care for children, designed to help them feel safe and secure in a new and unfamiliar environment. Our mission is to engage every child in developmentally appropriate opportunities for play and discovery and to help parents feel at ease when there are breakdowns in their regular care situations. Our center is open Monday through Friday for back-up child care and early education. The center is conveniently located in the Illinois Building on the first floor to the right of Fox Studios. We have a 30-minute parking validation for convenient drop-off and pick-up. Click here to view a photo tour of our center.

Infants, Toddlers, Preschool, School Age

Nutritious snacks and lunch provided daily

• Unopened formula and/or food. We must make the bottles on site.
• Recommended: one bottle with cover for each feeding, labeled with your child’s first and last name and date
• An extra bottle/formula/breast milk
• All breast milk needs to be prepared in the bottles and numbered
• Our center is a peanut-safe zone and we ask that you please refrain from  bringing any snack item that contains peanut butter or peanut products
• Diapers (at least 5), wipes (plenty), and ointment if needed
• Any comfort items (blanket, pacifier, etc.)
• Extra change of clothes including underwear, socks, pants and a shirt

Lunch can also be purchase at the center for $5 per child.  Below you will find our Spring menu for May.
